Basics

At the character selection screen you will find a bookshelf at the lower center of the screen. Tomes and Unlocked Spells and Artifacts will be collected here and will be viewable any time you are at the character selection screen. Below is a list of requirements to unlock each Tome and their respective Items.

"A chest that seems impossibly large on the inside."

• Runic Infuser: Buy 3  Artifacts from a single shop.
• Tempus: Cast 20  Spells in a single turn.
• Tablet of Anger: Deal 200  Damage with a single  Spell cast.
• Witch Blood: Defeat a boss in the first turn of combat.
• Crucible: Have 6  Charges on a spell.
• Staff of Splintering: Roll 50  Dice in a single turn.
• Skaal: Win a battle with 1  Health remaining.
• Everguard: Win the game at Mutation Stage 6.
• M'olly: Have 25+ available  Dice,
• Bosco's Bell: Spend 20+  Dice to cast a single  Countdown  Spell.
• Hexed Crown: Win the game in less than 45 minutes.
• Karl's Memory: Win the game without losing any  Health.

"A collection of notes on forgotten battlemage spells."

• Forbearance: Deal 500  Damage.
• Spirit Arrows: Gain 50  Power.
• Detonation: Gain 10  Critical.
• Rime Hail: Gain 25  Hailstorm.
• Bloom Bolt: Kill 10 enemies with  Poison.
• Eruption: Kill 10 enemies with  Banefire.

"A ponderous volume by an arch wizard describing various defensive spells."

• Glaciate: Gain 100  Block.
• Transfigure: Gain 20  Barrier.
• Flame Surge: Apply 50  Weak.
• Chemical Reaction: Kill 30 enemies that are attacking.
• Aspect of Earth: Win 10 Elite battles without taking  Damage.
• Reclamation: Lose  Health from  Spells 15 times.

"An ancient manual regarding advanced Mana collection and storage in Dice."

• Mental Reservoir: Gain 20  Foresight.
• Relief: Gain 25  Blessing.
• Mutilation: Roll 40  Wound dice.
• Liquify: Cast 100  Spells with a  Countdown socket.
• Spirit of the Forest: Roll 200 .
• Sacrifice: Cast 15  Spells without spending  Dice.

"A dusty tome filled with incomprehensible secrets from the dark beyond."

• Ether Echo: Collect 5 Void  Spells.
• Convoke: Upgrade  Spells 15 times.
• Power Nexus: Retrieve 10  Shards from disenchanted  Spells.

"A treatise describing strenous but formidable spells."

• Epiphany: Use 15  Potions.
• Conjuration Chorus: Reroll a draft 10 times.
• Lathspell: Sell 10  Spells in shops.
